Summary:
IRI, a thriving nonprofit that supports people with developmental disabilities, is seeking compassionate and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team.
As a DSP, you will work with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting helping them live independently while ensuring their health and safety.
We have full-time positions available throughout Queens! Mixed Shifts Available:
include 3pm to 11pm, 11pm to 9 am, weekends 7am to 3pm mixed with weekday 3pm-11pm shifts.
Key
Responsibilities:
Assist the individuals living at our residences with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, and dressing Accompany the people we support to community inclusion events and medical appointments Ensure the health and safety of the people we support Attend staff meetings and trainings on an on-going basis Maintain certifications and driving authorization About You You are the ideal candidate for this role if you are a caring, compassionate and motivated professional wanting to empower underserved communities You have a High School Diploma or equivalent One year of experience in OPWDD setting or related field You have a valid NYS driver's license issued for more than a year You are vaccinated against COVID-19 What We Offer:
